Back in 2014, Katie and Hiraen, who lived in Dubai, contacted me. They had booked the wonderful Buxted Park Hotel for their wedding, registrar and all. But then they decided, for practical reasons to do their legal ceremony in Dubai. Shock horror! The registrar would no longer marry them as they were already legally married. So they contacted me, and asked me if I would do their ceremony. We had our detailed conversation on Skype, and I wrote a ceremony for them to approve in the usual way. And it all went beautifully!
