GETTING LEGAL STATUS FOR HUMANIST WEDDINGS IN ENGLAND AND WALES

On July 7th and 8th, six couples are going to the High Court in an attempt to establish the legality of Humanist marriage. Humanist weddings have legal status in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Jersey and will be coming soon in Guernsey.  However, in England and Wales couples still have the additional admin and expense of going to a register office.
